Coming up on Sunday, August 15th, we will welcome several new members to Red Ridge UMC at our morning worship. This is such an exciting time! 

If you are interested in joining, I want to invite you to a short informational meeting on Sunday, August 2nd, during the fellowship time (10:30 am). Grab some coffee and refreshments, then join us in the Ruth Lockett Room. 

I will share a little about being a member of Red Ridge, the different ways we receive members (profession, transfer, etc.), and a couple of options that allow folks who live here part-time to retain membership at their home church, while committing to Red Ridge as well. 

Later in the fall, we will hold a New Member Class (for everyone who joined in the past year) in which I will talk at more length about being "discipleship partners" (a term I prefer to "church member"), some particulars about the UMC, and the ministries of Red Ridge.
